Prayer & Protest

On June 7, 2020 nearly 100 Christ followers from different churches, fellowships, denominations, cultures and ethnicities joined together for a time of lament, prayer and worship to God outside of The New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC.

We then marched as one body to the White House to call for repentance and reform in our country’s justice system through a peaceful protest. Many protestors that were already at the White House joined us in protest, prayer and worship to God. Then, the protestors who were at the White House before us, joined us as we marched back to The New York Avenue Presbyterian Church for a time of rallying, praying and mobilization.

We left the church with nearly 100. We returned with nearly 1,000. Below are video and images capturing this moment in history.
